Dr Bikash C Pal is Reader of Power Systems at Imperial College London. His research interest focuses on robust control of power system, wide area monitoring and analysis and distribution system state estimation and FACTS controllers. He has conducted strategic research for ABB in power transmission control and for EDF Energy Networks in state estimation for distribution system. He is Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy. He was Editor-in-Chief of IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution (2005-2012) and IEEE Distinguished Lecturer in power transmission control. |
