EE1-LABC E1 Computing Lab

Lecturer(s): Dr Max Cattafi

Aims:

The first year Computing laboratories in the Autumn and Spring terms support Dr Pitt's lecture course, EE1-7 Software Engineering 1: Introduction to Computing.

The Autumn term laboratories consolidate understanding of the EE1-7 course concepts in order to produce console applications in C. A virtual learning environment (VLE) is used to deliver the laboratory instructions.

There are no more EE1-7 lectures in the Spring term but the computing laboratories will continue and will provide an opportunity for you to consolidate the content of the Autumn term, introducing also concepts from other languages (C++, Matlab).

There is no end-of-year examination for the computing laboratory. However, the accumulative computing coursework marks equates to your EE1-7 mark.
