The laboratory course aims to introduce you to best practice in experimental work, while supporting the lecture courses and giving practical exposure to real systems.
Learning Outcomes:
You will learn to use test equipment with accuracy and confidence, while deepening your understanding of the taught material by gaining practical insight and skills. You will learn to design, test & debug non-ideal electronic systems.
Syllabus:
Hardware experiments in Communications, Control, Power Electronics, Electromagnetic fields & Machines, Active Filters. Software experiments in Signal processing (MATLAB). Circuit design, PCB design, test & debug of medium-sized analog & digital circuits.

Coursework only - No exam
