Summary of Personal Activities: Kin K. Leung received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of California, Los Angeles in 1985. He started his career at AT&T Bell Labs in 1986, and was with AT&T Labs from 1996 to 2002 and Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies from 2002 to 2004. Since 2004, he has been the Tanaka Chair Professor in Internet Technology at Imperial College.
His research interests include radio resource allocation, MAC protocol, TCP/IP protocol, mobility management, network architecture, real-time applications and teletraffic issues for broadband wireless networks. He is also interested in a wide variety of wireless technologies, including 802.11, 802.16, 3G, future generation wireless networks, and mesh and vehicular ad-hoc networks.
