The streets in a modern city are intricate and navigation systems are often needed. However, navigation based on vision act as a distraction for the rider.

Forming The Idea

Realizing the importance of bikes, we decided to offer a subtitute to visual navigation systems, and to the traditional hand signals for turn indication. It had to be lightweight, removable, waterproof and safe.

Throughout the development of the Smart Helmet we were in constant communication with real bicycle commuters from across the Greater London Area. Few of the most popular requested features were:

Hard At Work

We have developed a “Smart Bicycle Helmet”. This is a helmet equipped with vibration motors and lights.  The vibration motors convert the navigation instructions into haptic feedback to inform the cyclist which direction to follow. The lights indicate forthcoming changes in direction and alert traffic of braking.
