Our Vision
"When physical disability prevents convenient independent living the first option usually considered is to try and adapt the home" - Bradford I. The Adaption Process. In: Bull R. (ed.), Housing Options for Disabled People London and Philadelphia: Jessica Kinglsey; 1998.
This project aims to improve the quality of life for wheelchair users by exploring the idea of automating and centralising the user's home experience. We aim to restore a sense of independence for wheelchair users, and reduce the need for excess physical stress of exertion through existing automation technologies.
We believe home automation technologies will become a social standard in future. Our project was born out of realising the link between a world of rapidly advancing technology, and the potential for social welfare that comes with it.
