Low power computers for schools
in developing rural communities
 Inspired by e.quinox's effort to electrify rural areas in Africa, this project looks at ways of ulitising this energy to improve students' learning experience. Computers are an indespensible part with technology we take granted for in the first world. With the prospect of limited electricity becoming available in these rural areas, the group aims to whether low cost, low power computers are feasible for teaching in these areas and to help prepare for future transition into the tertiary industry dominated economy. |
