Our system requires a wireless transmission range of at least 40m. In addition, low set up and maintenance costs are desired. Using ZigBee we offer a cheap, easy to setup, secure and low power solution for network wireless communication. In addition, implementing Mesh topology for this network provides alternative routes for data in case of device failure.


Passive Infra Red Sensors. Detecting road users.
Motion detector sensors are required for the system, in order to detect pedestrians, vehicles and cyclists within range of each lamp post, and then signal to the microcontroller accordingly. In addition, these must have a range greater than 15m, and a viewing angle as close to 180 as possible. PIR technology is the most suitable technology, optimizing detection for cars and people.
Power. The way we run our product.
The lamps used must satisfy the general requirements for street light sources, and the LEDs do. Since these are connected to the mains, a 230V/50HZ AC/DC converter is required. The network also integrates an LED driver, which controls the LEDs, by applying a dimming method and optimizing the power usage.
