Who am I?

I am Professor of Digital Systems and Deputy Head in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering. My main administrative responsibility is the running of our undergraduate course in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. This course attracts some of the best students from all around the world and students on this course usually achieve straight A grades at A-Level examinations.

My Research

My research interests include:

• Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and Reconfigurable Computing
• Analogue and Digital CAD tools, in particular high level synthesis and hardware/software codesign
• Low power and high performance IC architectures for signal and image processing
• Mixed signal IC designs
