A.L.E.R.T is a feasible model because it is based on the working models already implemented in other countries. It can be easily integrated into the EAs' existing system, in particular, using EISEC to send the data to the relevant authorities. By using A-GPS or other relevant technologies, A.L.E.R.T reduces response time of EAs by providing a more precise location of the caller. A faster response by the EAs leads to many tangible and intangible benefits, of which the most significant would be saving lives. This makes the system economically feasible and therefore more research should be conducted to best implement A.L.E.R.T.
The video below is about an automobile accident that occurred in Kent, UK where the emergency authorities took a long time to arrive at the scene. Lives may have been saved had the emergency authorities arrived more promptly. With the A.L.E.R.T system operational, we hope that the number of such tragedies will be reduced.
